Recently, Sinohydro Corporation Limited won two road upgrading projects in Ethiopia - the Asosa-Kulmok Road and the Gondal-Debke Road projects. The total contracted value amounted to USD $125.28 million (more than 856 million RMB).

The Gondal-Debke Road Project lies in the northern part of Ethiopia. The contracted value of this 99.15 kilometers road stands at USD $71.87 million (about 488 million RMB). This three-year project is financed by the World Bank and the Ethiopian government.
