IMPACT CRUSHER MAINTENANCE

In order to ensure the normal operation and life expectancy of the machine, you should maintain it frequently.
a. Carry out comprehensive inspection to the new machine after every work. After
being used for about two weeks, inspect the machine comprehensively once per month. The motor and lubrication should be checked once per week. Check for the tightness of the locking parts, belt driving, and the status of bearing, and switches of electric parts.
b. Inspect the primary parts such as blow bar and impact lining board of the machine weekly. Establish the system of periodic repair and replacement in accordance with maintenance.
c. Adjust the clearance between the rotor and impact lining plate.
When the rotor is running, you do not adjust the clearance. If the materials are obstructed between the impact plate and the shell, slightly lift up the impact rack before readjusting the clearance so that the materials will become loose and drop down. It will be easy for adjusting the clearance.
Loosen the screw sleeve, rotate the long nut, and the pull bar will move toward the arrow. Retighten the sleeve after adjustment.
Observe the clearance through opening the side gate on the frame. User shall pay special attention that the above procedures shall be performed after stopping the machine, or otherwise there will be an accident.
d. Replacement of the tear and wear parts
When replacing the wearing part, open the rear upper frame at first. The ratchet wheel flipping unit is utilized for this machine. Disassemble the connecting bolt for the rear upper frames and middle cases, and then two workers concurrent operate the handle of both sides on the ratchet wheel flipping unit, then slowly open the rear upper frame until the position showed in Fig.3. At the same time, user can use suspension system which is on the top of the frame, to support the rear upper frame. Move the reverse lever on the ratchet wheel, repeat the above process, to close the rear case frame.
1) Blow bars
Adjust or replace the blow bar when it is worn to certain degree to avoid damage of the locking parts and other parts
Open the rear upper frame with ratchet wheel unit. Turn the rotor with hand and turn the flat blow bar to be adjusted or replaced to the inspecting position. Fix the rotor. Disassemble the position parts of blow bar, and then take off the pressing block axially. Push the blow bar axially from the inspecting gate or lift out it through the middle of frame. Slightly knock the blow bar with the hand blow bar during disassembling. When installing the blow bar, follow the above procedures in reversed sequence. The blow bar with approximate weight shall be mounted oppositely to avoid unbalancing during work.

2) The impact plates
Open the rear upper frame to disassemble the split pin, grooved nut and bolt fixing the impact plate to replace it. Perform the above procedures in reversed sequence in case of installing new impact lining plate.
3) Open the upper frame to adjust the lining board. The area heavily worn and the area slightly worn of lining board can be exchanged. When one side of lining board were exhausting worn,
turn it 90°or 180°to use it continually. When there is material accumulating on the impact rack and locking the impact rock, put the washer and bolt behind the lining board on the side of impact rack to reduce the clearance.

4) Adjustment of Clearance between Inlet Bottom and Blow bar
There is square steel at the bottom of the inlet. When a corner of the feeding part is worn, turn it 90° to control the feeding of material which is not crushed. Disassemble the covers on both sides of the frame; pull out the square steel and them insert it after turning.


e. Lubrication
The lubrication instruction shall be followed strictly to ensure the normal and high-performance work of the crusher.
1) Pay attention to the lubrication of the abrasion surface frequently.
2) Use the lubricating oil as per local climate.
3) Apply the lubricating grease to the bearing once every eight hours of work. The molybdenum disulphide grease (Molybdenum disulfide complex calcium-based grease (No.3) shall be used for the bearings at both ends of the main shaft.
4) Replace the lubricating oil once every three months. Wash the bearing with clean gasoline or coal oil prior to replacing the oil. The lubricating grease filled into the bearing shall occupy 50% to70% volume of the bearing chamber.
5) The temperature increase of bearing shall not exceed 35℃ under normal condition. Temperature exceeding 70℃ is abnormal. Stop the machine and find out the reason. Restart the machine only when the failure is cleared.
